Still too tired to write… Some pictures to share…

Day 3: Gotemba Premium Outlet

It’s a 97 minutes bus ride from Tokyo to Gotemba but it was worth every second of it. Not only the branded stuff was super cheap (Coach, Prada, Gucci…etc…etc), the scene was a feast to the city eyes. The outlet is located directly across Mount Fuji!

Day 4: Ueno & Akihabara

The original plan was to visit the Zoo in Ueno. But we decided to take a nice walk through the park to look for stray cats to play with. Unfortunately, we found only a few unfriendly fat cats… We also went shopping at the famous street market in Ueno (Ameyoko). And after that we went straight to the Electric town. Akihabara was very crowded! Full with colorful characters and tourists.

Just for Junida and Wani… Orang nya tidak di jumpai… Gambar pun jadik la!

Day 5: Harajuku baby!!!

Last Day: On the airplane for 450 minutes…

And theeeeeeennnnn, the pilot decided to take a longer route! We came for 6 and a half hours. Going back home was 7 and a half hours!!!!!!!!!! Again, it was all worth it when the co-pilot announced, “In 5 minutes time, we’ll be flying across Mount Fuji…”. You only get to see this type of view either from National Geographic or in your dreams…

Hello from Tokyo!

Missed me already? I’m pretty sure some of you does…

It’s 10.15pm in Tokyo, and bloody cold like mad outside! Nothing good playing on the TV. The hotel DOESN’T have any in-house free movie. You have to pay for anything and everything here. Except for the internet… The internet is free…

 

Let’s just start with yesterday. We arrived safely after 6 hours ++ in the plane. Couldn’t sleep at all. Khadeeja was sleeping soundly (Thank God!!!). We  arrived at the hotel 4 hours before they allow us to check in. So we decided to go and have a look-see at the nearest shopping mall here (there’s like 3 shopping mall within 3 minutes walk from the hotel). Abu got a few stuff for himself but I was just too tired to walk. Kesian Khadeeja. I think her body was aching and she was hungry and we haven’t change her pampers since we arrived. Finally at 2pm, we got into our room and mandi and makan… Long story short, she cried because she got wind, I cried because I was too tired to carry her, Abu had to run and buy some more food and baby stuff….. Day one done!

Today, we got up at 7am (that’s like an achievement to us because Khadeeja usually gets up around 5.30am), had breakfast, and took a train down to Shinjuku station. From Shinjuku we took the bus straight to Tokyo Disney. It was not very cold at first but towards late evening it started to rain and was REALLY, REALLY cold. Again, kesian Khadeeja. At least this time we got her to have lunch and dinner on time! She was in a good mood the whole trip home. But now, Abu la pulak yang demam… My whole body is aching like I was beaten up with a baseball bat. Hopefully we’ll be fine so that we could continue our plan tomorrow, which is going all the way to somewhere near Mount Fuji for the Premium Outlet shopping place… Some pictures from our Disney Sea trip today.

Btw, I’m not happy with top 12 AI… Why is that Chikezie still in? I still think David Archuleta is gonna win. Watever it is, I’m happy Jason Castro got through….

Kundasang trip

It was amazing. Unfortunately, the weather was not good so we didn’t get to see Gunung Kinabalu and her majestic self. See the fourth picture? All white and cloudy? That’s because it WAS white and cloudy. Kabus terlalu tebal until we couldn’t see anything outside the car. I am most definitely going there again and I’m planning to go and panjat Kinabalu (yeah right…).  

 

 

So we missed our flight…

We did… We missed our flight back to KK on the 19th Dec… Our usual airport limo can’t pick us up so he asked his friend to fetch us. The guy did not come and Abu decided to drive to LCCT, leave the car there and get either Nazry (me cousin) or Azmi (me brader in law) to get the car there. We didn’t make it on time due to heavy rain, hence heavier traffic. I’m bloody disappointed with Air Asia. We reached there around 20 mins before the flight and they claimed that the gate was already closed. The flight was definitely delayed due to heavy rain. I was looking at the flight info board before we went back home, and it was almost 30 mins past the actual departing time, and it showed that the flight was just BOARDING…

It’s okay… Itulah korban hari raya tahun ni… heh… We decided to take another flight the next day. Nasib baik ada seat. All flights were fully booked until Saturday. Nasib baik ada rezeki…

Today, after a few thousand promises, we finally went up to Kundasang. Unfortunately, the weather was not good so we didn’t get to see Gunung Kinabalu… Sob..Sob…Sob… I’ll put up pictures later…

Happy but sad…

Am at the airport right now, waiting for my flight at 9.20pm.
Obvious feeling would be happy to see my family. But very sad indeed to leave my friends in Singapore. They’ve been nice to me and special thanks to SHARON for buying me the Old Chang Kee fish ball and karipap just now. You saved me, yet, another time from starvation! (Benjamin, jangan jealous! Your TL is feeding me all the time!).
It’s 8.05pm, and I’m off to sit quietly somewhere. So, if any of my Singapore friends are reading;
one of the best time I’ve had in ‘office environment’. Don’t forget to email me and call me if you are in KL!!!! To my dudes and dudetes in KL; I’ll be home soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day: Saturday

Venue: Orchard Road

I had company on Saturday. Cat came to visit. Our original plan was to go to the zoo, but once again, nature was against us. What have I done to deserve such treatment from mother nature? I recycle. I love animals. I’m an environmentalist!!!! And since we didn’t have a plan B, we ended up walking without purpose (yet another LOSER story). I was so tired couldn’t even walk any further than Paragon. So we decided to go back. Story won’t be complete without at least one loser incident. We waited for a cab, none stop for us. So we decided to take MRT. And along the walk to MRT station, 3 buses going directly back to the hotel passed by…..

Day: Sunday
Venue: Bugis

After the long walk on Saturday, Cat and I slept and slept and slept until the construction workers woke us up with all the noises… Damn those people! But if not, Cat would’ve missed her bus back… Heh… After lunch @ Raffles Hospital food court, we went to Bugis. Cat took MRT to Kranji to catch her bus and I was on a suicide mission. My feet were screaming to stop but I kept going. Spend almost 4 hours just around Bugis. It was the most well spend 4 hours ever. A lot of interesting places to go and shopping is great in Bugis. I also found a cat in Bugis…. Here’s some pictures:

This is Ginger the Cat. Yes… I named the cat! Played with Ginger for 30 mins, before I realize everyone was staring at me…. I wish I had cat food…. Next time, I’ll bring cat food everywhere I go…

A very tired me after 2 days of non-stop walkinh with Abu’s new golf straw hat…..

One nite to go and I’m back in KL… Can’t wait. I almost can’t breathe last nite… Miss Kady too much….

Singapore, here I come!

Here’s me… Still dunno what to pack for my very first business trip ever! Yeap… Company finally sending me to Singapore for training. Excited, of course but not really happy as will be spending 9 days without sleeping partners… That’s right… My kid and hubby not coming with me (like duh! kerja la!). So sad… So sad…

So here’s Abu and Kady… A very happy looking Abu…. Kept psychoing me into crying… Sobsobsob… My original plan was to come back for the weekend but me mom say CANNOT (yes… I’m still very much scared of my mom). Also Abu say ‘GO SHOPPING’ (wtf… first time ever diud!!! usually he roll his eyes everytime I bring up the ‘S’ word). Johana say ‘nanti tengah-tengah shopping air mata mengalir la pulak..’ Baldiful betul la Jo! It’s been long since I last went to Singapore. So not very familliar with the shopping place (ask me about Tokyo, I tell you what train to take…)
Anyways… Being me, very kiasu and all, checking out places of interest (marks and spencer, borders, hmv, kinokuniya…), siap with the map of which train to take… Sigh… Kalau ada budget tu takpe jugak. I might just end up visiting the Singapore Zoo… Cat, join me! Let’s go to the zoo togeder-geder……

Will update more once I’m there… I’m leaving 12noon tomorrow (12th Aug) and coming back on the last flight out 9.20pm on 21st Aug….
