Eid ul-Fitr or Id-Ul-Fitr (Arabic: عيد الفطر ‘Īdu l-Fiṭr), often abbreviated to Eid, is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid is an Arabic word meaning “festivity”, while Fiṭr means “to break the fast” (and can also mean “nature”, from the word “fitrah”) and so symbolizes the breaking of the fasting period.

Eid ul-Fitr is a three day celebration and is called “The Smaller Eid” (Arabic: العيد الصغير al-‘īdu ṣ-ṣaghīr) compared with the Eid ul-Adha that lasts four days and is called “The Greater Eid” (Arabic: العيد الكبير al-‘īdu l-kabīr).

i got the kebaya Jawa from The Mall last Saturday… Cute aaaaaa?!!!!!!!!

Yes… Those are Harry Potter socks…

Referring to my nice red sneaker picture below, someone asked, ‘is that a Gryffindor socks you wearing?’. Well, as a matter of fact (although that was a very weird question indeed), it is a Gryffindor socks. In fact, if you must kno (if you don’t, you have to stop reading this thing now and skip to the next paragraph), I have 2 Harry Potter t-shirts as well… I love Harry Potter. I mean, not Harry the boy, but the whole idea of a wizarding world… Then again, if someone asked, would I rather be a witch or a mutant, I’d prefer to be a mutant with the power to teleport. Why? Save cost… No need to drive or take plane…

So… What else is happening around the world other than natural disaster, economic turbulence, and political stuff? I read in CNN that some actor dude is now in court for beating a cat to death because he was jealous that his girlfriend paid more attention to ‘Norman the cat’ than to him. And now, he faces up to 2 years in jail if found guilty. Why la? Why beat Norman the cat? Beat la the girlfriend for not paying attention to you! Idiot… Hmm… What else? According to Entertainment Weekly, Iron Man DVD is coming out soon. And for those who follows America’s Next Top Model, this season, they have a transgender girl competing in it. That will be interesting to watch… The world doesn’t have enough skinny leggy GIRLS anymore… Sigh…

T’was too hot, but suddenly, the wind came!

Fountain depan rumah my mom yang banjir after the rain…

Seriously! KK was burning hot but yesterday, from morning till late in the afternoon, it did not stop raining and the wind was blowing strongly. We were just afraid that our flight might be cancelled or delayed… But it didn’t… I was secretly wishing that it would get cancelled to today (so that I get one more day at home…)… Sigh… Here I am… In the office… Trying to figure out how to manage a week’s worth of work in 2 days… Sigh…

As usual, I’m really tired from the whole trip. Baby K had the luxury of having both Mommy and Bapak at home with her for 5 whole days. Again, Thank God our house is small… She is one healthy and very, very active child… And very loud as well… And very feisty as well… Hmmm… I wonder where she got that from???

Anakku yang jakun dengan airport yang luas (KKIA)…

Today, I feel very ‘corporate’. Wearing all black (a black turtleneck shirt and a black pants), I spoiled my corporate look with my red converse sneakers… Don’t ask why or is it even allowed in my office… I just want to wear it today.

This whole week I suddenly have this craving to listen to ‘Apa Saja’ by KRU. One thing led to another, and suddenly I’m you-tubing ‘Feminin’, ‘4U2C’, ‘A to Z’… IMO, those days, the songs were much much better than lagu-lagu nowadays. KRU produced a lot of high quality songs and like 4U2C, eventhough lagu diorang simple, we still like it better than watever they have now. Kesimpulannya, I’m still stuck in the 90’s and Fantasia Bulan Madu is still the best malay song ever!!!

There are also a few other songs that I like still. If you have time (and you can find them online), listen to them;

Btw, I’m going back to KK again tomorrow (very early in the morning flight – 4am). To those yang mintak beli Kopi Tenom the other trip, I’ll buy some this time. They are really hard to find nowadays (especially the 3 in 1). They usually have the 2 in 1 only… So any kopi freak who would wants this kopi, sms me… To those who don’t know what is Kopi Tenom, it’s the best kopi ever! The taste; not too sweet and not too pahit but very kaw-kaw… Let me kno, right?!

Crappy song to start off my day…

We have this thing in the office every morning where they play songs and dedications for half an hour. Macam ‘Radio TKC’ la jugak… They usually play good songs, but occasionally the DJ will play crappy songs as well. But today, the first song which is currently playing now is the crappiest ever. Maybe for me la, because the weather outside is so good for sleeping until 10am and we are all stuck in the office (or in traffic). It’s that old song ‘Sarah’ from watever group that I dunno. The weirdest bit about it is, I actually kno the lyrics of the bloody song and was singing to it in my head. Weird…

I really don’t have anything good to share nowadays (since I rarely go out and socialize…). i’ve been very tired since Monday. Baby K kept waking up in the middle of the night these days. She had a slight fever for the past 2 days maybe because gigi dia tumbuh lagi. Oh! And she’s sleeping with us again. I kesian her bibik (since she already have to jaga Baby K from morning until she sleeps…). Once her sleeping pattern is ok again, I will put her back on her own.

And also, nowadays, I have this extra confidence about myself. Ever since Cat gave me the Mirror, I actually feel that I’m kind of pretty (hahahahahahahahahaah!)…. Like today, I saw myself in the Mirror and I think I’m prettier today than yesterday… Maybe it’s the tudung. Makes my face looks smaller and hides out my triple chin… *Disclosure: This is the hormones talking. I do not take any responsibility for watever statement I just wrote*.

I want to change profession

Would anybody want to pay me for travelling around the world? I think after 6 years of working in the same environment, doing the same routine, I’m getting a little bit tired of it…

Some things that I’d like to do after this:

• Write a book
• Be a business owner
• Getting paid for travelling
• Be a housewife (I hate cooking and cleaning but I’d like to be home when my children comes home from school… I want to be a soccer mom!)

Orang lain sibuk puasa and bercuti, I actually came to the office to do some work… No, I’m not a workaholic. I just like the peace and quiet when no one’s around and KL is not too crowded.

2 Sep 08:

Appointment with the Gynae because the heartburn medicine she prescribed the previous week was not working. I was still vomitting and to add it all up, I had gastric. Gynae referred me to a gastric doctor (dunno what they are called professionally). Seems that my blood pressure was too low and I lost a lot of weight within 3 days. So she decided that I need some sodium and glucose, hence, me getting myself admitted to Sunway Medical Center. I drove there alone and got myself admitted without anybody with me… So terrer!

Still in the hospital… Was dying to get myself out (after 4 pints of watever drip thingy, my hands were sore…). Thanks to my ofis friends (Audrey, Seetha and Mary) who came to visit. Around 9pm, I finally got myself discharged…

My 5th wedding anniversary came unforgotten but since we’re not big on celebrating anything but birthdays, nothing special happened or exchanged. Happy Anniversary to us anyways… And also we decided that Baby K is big enough to sleep on her own bed in the room next to us. So now, she sleeps on the bed and her bibik sleeps on the floor (sorry la Epon… Bilik nya kecil, ngak bisa beli katil extra…). I’m not very keen on ‘releasing’ her this early but if I start seperating us when the second protege comes on board, she might feel left out… And since we got no extra room to put her on the floor with us (because I plan to put the second protege in a baby cot and not with me on the bed), we have to put her next door… Sigh… I’m sad…

The highlight of the day was our impromptu house cleaning. We managed to minimized our stuff and sold some un-opened wedding gifts (yes, we still have a few…).

Today, came back to the ofis and found a mirror with a sticky note on it;

Thanks Cat for looking after my personal hygiene… That’s why we are friends and why I love you too!

So my friends, I promise this week will be a better week with loads of updates in my blog (hopefully…). To those yang berpuasa, selamat berpuasa… And no, I’m not fasting again this year… I want to try but I might get hospitalized again (which I’m trying to avoid…). Nampak gaya nya, tahun depan, I already have a post-natal diet plan… Heh…
