Is it wrong for me to ask for a decent service?

This time, it was the MAS call center. I am VERY disappointed…

Malas mau cerita panjang-panjang lah! As you all kno, me and Air Asia don’t see eye to eye anymore. And I’m not gonna say ‘I expect shitty treatment from AA but not from MAS’ because ALL call center customer service officers should treat their customers accordingly. Just because people pay lesser with AA doesn’t mean that people deserve lesser service as well. Having said that, since I paid a bomb to fly with MAS, I DEMAND a better service from them. What tagline???? MH stands for Malaysian Hospitality my ass!

As a Quality Analyst for a call center, I tend to compare the service I get from other companies with the service (or at least the calls) that we give from our company. I’m not saying that we give the best service but we try. There are a few bad apples in the team but nothing compares to the shitty service I got from the MAS officer. I don’t want to re-live the conversation. My blood pressure is rising just thinking about it. The officer was lazy. Buat kerja senang pun malas. Suruh check reservation pun macam kena suruh angkat kayu bikin bangunan. If you are rude, I can maki hamun you there and then. But if you are lazy, I can’t do anything but recommend that you are fired from the job. I need to stop it at that and breathe now…. Fuhfuhfuhfuhfuh (ala-ala orang mau beranak punya breathing…)!

To the director/manager of MAS call center, either you need to re-train your staff or hire me as your QA.

Group 2 – Eh???

I’m really pissed off with the judges for not putting Jamar thru now… Group 1 was boring, this group is just terrible.

• Jasmine Murray (Love Song) – I hope she gets a second chance in the wildcard round because I think she’s unique. The song choice was not bad but the vocal was not good. I think she over-did the song.
• Matt Giraud (Viva La Vida) – He should’ve gone with a blues song. Viva La Vida is one of the best song in 2008 and his voice is sooooo not suitable for it. Wrong song bro!
• Jeanine Vailes (This Love) – It was so bad, even Paula can’t lie about it. And yes, she does have great legs…
• Norman Gentle (And I’m Telling You) – The most entertaining, I agree. But unfortunately, this is a singing competition, not The Last Comic Standing. It’s people like this, who doesn’t take this competition seriously, who makes me angry at the judges, for wasting the top 36 spot on them. Jamar should’ve gotten the spot!
• Allison Iraheta (Alone) – There was moments where I thought she was pitchy but compared to the rest of the contestants, she was one of the good ones…
• Kris Allen (Man In The Mirror) – The voice was okay, but not great. The song choice was weird. His performance was forgettable.
• Megan Corkrey (Put Your Records On) – I love her tone but it was very pitchy. The vocal was all over the place. But I still love her… And I love her hair…
• Matt Breitzke (If You Can Only See) – Very safe and normal and boring performance. To sum it up; forgettable.
• Jesse Langseth (Betty Davis Eyes) – One of my favorite song. Despite a few ‘out of breathe’ moments, I think it was a good performance. One of my favorite tonight.
• Kai Kalama (What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted) – What’s wrong with him? Why is he singing this type of depressing song??? Why? Why? WHY?
• Mishavonna (Drops Of Jupiter) – She’s got a nice tone to her voice. But it was the wrong song for her. She should’ve gone for something from Christina Aguilera.
• Adam Lambert (Satisfaction) – The best tonite, but not his best performance ever. I adore his uniqueness… Go Team Lambert! Woohoo!!!! He’ll sail thru to the next round tho…

This week, I don’t really care whoever goes thru. I’m still angry with the judges for putting ‘NONSENSE’ in the top 36…

Kenduri cukur jambul

First and foremost, my apologies to everyone for not inviting to the majlis. It was just a small kenduri for Ameena and Aniq at my sister’s place. I promise we’ll do a makan-makan session soon(ish… ).

Also, a million apologies for not updating the blog regularly. I have a lot to write but not sure which topic to post up. Will update more soon(ish also…).

Group 1 – Top 36

I’m disappointed… I only liked 1 performance. The rest were ‘okay’, ‘amaturish’, and ‘horrifying’. Let’s just get it on with the comments;

• Jackie Tohn (A little less conversation) – I love her personality. She’s fun but her song choice was not right. She should’ve gone for a more bluessy song or at least do a Janice Joplin.
• Ricky Braddy (Song for you) – Dude got excellent pipes but the song was too balladish for a first performance. I hope the judges will pick him in the wildcard round because it’s impossible for him to make it thru from this group with strong contestants in it.
• Alexis (Never loved a man) – Despite watever raving comments the judges gave her, I didn’t like the performance that much. I thot it was just okay…
• Brent Keith (Hicktown) – I understand that he wants to show his singing style; country, however, with such strong people in the group; Danny & Anoop, you can’t just perform an unknown song.
• Stevie Wright (You belong with me) – It was the wrong song. The performance was a mess.
• Anoop Dawg (Angel of mine) – Without looking at him, he sounded like JC from NSync… The song choice was different and he could’ve done better if he sing something more recent or at least famous. Nonetheless, he got good vocals.
• Casey Carlson (Every little thing he does is magic) – Being pretty doesn’t help at all this time around. She butchered the song and still think it was ‘enjoyable’… Baby, it wasn’t ‘enjoyable’… It was awkward and angry mobs of The Police’s fan should be showing up at her house soon.
• Michael Sarver (I don’t wanna be) – Song choice ok, vocals not so bad, but the performance was just too normal. Nothing special about it.
• Anne Marie (Natural woman) – If you wanna sing a big song like this, you must have the charisma or at least have a good set of lungs like Melinda Doolittle. Very forgettable.
• Stephen Fowler (Rock with you) – I actually think that the performance was not that bad. I like the song choice. Very bold… But he should’ve improvised it and make it his own if he wants it to have an impact with the viewers.
• Tatiana (Saving all my love for you) – I hate to say this, but she’s not a bad singer . And, as a psychology grad, I think she’s got Bipolar Personality Disorder. Scary…
• Danny G (Hero) – Eventhough I think the performance was a little ‘David-Cookish’ with the Mariah thingy, his performance was the best of the nite. And when the camera zoomed to Jamar, it brightens up my evening as well. Heeheehee… Awesome vocals!

So who’s going thru? Since this round they’ll be putting thru the top dude, top lady, and the second highest vote overall; I’d say Danny, Alexis, and Anoop.

The Top 36

I disagree with 3 of the contestants the judges choose for the top 36 and I am ANGRY at the fact that Jamar Rogers is not in the top 36!

I kno most of you don’t really follow the show at this point but here’s the list of Seaon 8 top 36. And this year, they are doing the show like the first 3 seasons (by group and there’ll be wildcards…), unlike the latter seasons where the contestants were grouped as top 12 boys/girls…

1. Adam Lambert – I’m voting for this dude. I hope Americans will appreciate his uniqueness.
2. Alex Wagner-Trugman – I love this nerd. Because of his audition, I downloaded ‘Baby come to me’ to my iPhone.

Grammys and Grannys

I’m watching the Grammys re-run on Astro now… Some good performances… I’m just not happy that Jason Mraz didn’t win anything (or did he???). The show’s not over yet. Baru habis performance Stevie Wonder with the Jonas Brothers. I don’t understand the craze with this group. Suara pun belum habis pecah lagi… Well… What would I kno… Kids nowadays have very weird taste in music… When we were *ahem*YOUNG*ahem*, we listen to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, NKOTB… Those are fantastic groups… Even if you don’t want to admit it, NKOTB rawked!

I’m doing okay with the confinement. Although my behind and my below are still sore and sometimes painful, I’m adjusting well with Meena’s sleeping and feeding pattern, and also playing sessions with Khadeeja. Nowadays, Khadeeja seems to sebut ‘nenek’ very often. Sampai mengigau malam-malam sebut ‘nenek’. I dunno which nenek tho. Her nenek Kuantan just went back last Sunday. And she usually will look at my mom’s pictures and say ‘neneeeeek’…

Meena is having some sort of allergy reaction towards I dunno what. Her face and body have spots/rashes all over. Kesian… Sampai mata dia bengkak. I think it’s due to the jamu I took and she’s breastfeeding… So, I stopped the jamu and for now, she have to settle with susu lembu.

Last nite’s movie? It was the worst 30 minutes of Keanu in my whole life… I usually will TRY to endure any movie with my favorite dudes but TDTESS is so bad, even his beautiful face can’t keep me occupied. Bloody bad movie…

Ok… A short note for La Signora: Mau si Meena? Boleh bah kalau kau… Kasi jak address. Aku hantar pakai pos laju…
