Kalau boleh di garu, sudah lama aku garu pakai garpu…

Well wishes still pouring in for the store. So far, the crowd is unpredictable. The mall is very new with only 10% of the shops open for business. Understandable that the sale for this month will be below our target. Yes, we will put up announcements in the papers. Also buntings will be up soon. Hopefully that will alert the customers that we are already here in KK.

Abu punya kedai makan pun Alhamdulillah doing good. Go and try the food. The kedai makan is located in Seksyen 19 Shah Alam, near CIAST (nanti aku taruk full address…). It’s called RESTORAN PAK ABU. We are open from 6am to 2am. Yes… 2 am… Kaki bola and kaki lepak boleh la berkunjung ke situ. Heh… Anak-anak ku? Khadeeja ada bisul yang aku tengah gatal tangan mau kasi pecah. Ameena will turn 1 next Monday. How time flies… SIGH!!!!!!! Next baby? Jangan tanya… Laki aku pun sebulan sekali baru jumpa. Patah pinggang la nak menjaga kedai dengan perut memboyot. Having said that, I would love to have 1 next year… :-p

Apart from me being sick and all, I haven’t got any chance to do any of my hobbies. Even my nephew’s birthday quilt pun tergendala since December (and his birthday was on the 4th of December). TV? American Idol tu pun aku tak tertengok. But that is ok still. Sebab baru auditions… I really need to adjust my timings. I have 5 books waiting to be read, and a few DVDs to watch. Bukannya tak bleh tengok, tapi mata pun tak bleh bukak kalau dah sampai rumah pukul 10.30pm. Kesian betul (kesian dengan diri sendiri…).

Ok lah. Seperti yang di janjikan di episod-episod sebelum ini, saya akan cuba untuk meng-update blog ini se-frequent yang boleh.

At last, 2 kedai pun sudah lah settle!

Alhamdulillah… Thank God…

Sekarang tinggal mau manage saja lah. We are (or already me think) employing an accountant and clerk to handle the administrative part of the company. Aku awal-awal surrender bab kira-kira ni. Admin punya hal, terlampau banyak mau buat, so kena ada clerk. Tidak kalu, tadak tidur la saya. I’ve been working at least 12 hours daily for the past few days. It is really tiring. But now, since the kedai suda buka, I think I deserve a little rest. My daily jadual starting from today is 9am to 2pm, balik dulu rehat, datang kedai balik pukul 7pm sampai closing. At least I have time to play around with the Powerpuff Girls.

Tiring? Of course! I am physically and mentally tired. Too tired until I cannot sleep properly sebab badan ku sakit. Now, I think I’m coming down with  sore throat and selsema. Need to go and get ubat from doktor tomorrow.

Apa pun, I would like to thank everyone for the well wishes and support. I don’t think I could’ve done it without the super efficient support team from Ms Read. And of course, if it wasn’t for my family, this project would still be just a dream.

To my friends, your prayers were heard and answered. The store is standing because of you…

American Idol is baaaaaack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my friends, you can expect there’ll be more updates from me now because I WILL MAKE SURE I’M IN FRONT OF THE TV EVERY WEDNESDAY 6PM…

… Mr Sherlock Holmes…

As a fan of crime investigation series, this is one of the best I’ve seen. I love the plot of the movie. Everyone seems to be ready to accept the fact that Lord Blackwood is really a witch. And everything turns out to be purely scientific.

Am I bias because Robert Downey Jr’s Sherlock? I think it might have some sort of an effect on my readiness to accept the dull colors of the cinematography (all grey and dull London…). If it’s not for the colorful character, I would probably have fallen asleep somewhere in the beginning. As for Dr Watson, his presence was not just a mere coincidence. I think he completes Sherlock Holmes. Their impeccable bromance is really the whole essence of the movie.

So my ratings? A strong B from me… Would I recommend it to everyone? Only if you love investigave drama, or Jude Law, or Robert Downey Jr, or dirty unbathed men.

Yes… Hi-tech gadgets mingling with the environment.

As I sit here with Ajan and Pai, looking at the waters where the kids are playing, listening to the birds chirping while Akustatik playing on my iPhone, I realized that I haven’t been too grateful with all the blessings I received. I’ve been too caught up with everything else that I seem to forget that God will never try us if He don’t think that we couldn’t handle it. So I guess at the end of the day, what don’t kill you, will make you stronger!
